It is a nice hotel, I found the staff quite friendly and supportive. The only thing I wish is that the Hotel has a bigger lobby with more sofa. Yet it is not really a big problem.

An excellent 3-star hotel. Comfortable room, nice staff. A good restaurant area for self service free drinks, chit chat and leisure during 1100-0700 (i.e. outside the breakfast hours). Highly recommended!

Very new hotel. According to a taxi driver it's a rebuilt hotel. However currently there is construction going on just adjacent to this building so it might be abit noisy in the day. Place seemed to be able to rent scooters and bicycles.

Very nice and clean hotel with super modern look and amenities (such as Japanese toilets and huge walk-in shower). The staff was super helpful. Location is good, a little further away from the noise but still central.

I wish every hotel was like this. The staff is super kind and attentive, Alan and everyone at reception gave us lots of information and helped us with our inquieres. The room is amazing, so big and bright, comfy and clean. And beautiful! It has a nice view of the city. The hotel is nicely located, close to many bus stops. Plus, they provide free bicycles which is great to move around. Their breakfast is great. You usually have two options that change every day (one local and one western) plus toasts with jam, peanut butter, nutella, juices, coffee, tea, etc. We stayed for several nights and every breakfast we had was amazing. They also provide nighttime snack, which consists of noodles with some sauce. Tainan is a beautiful city, filled with night markets and old temples. This hotel is a great place to explore it. I completely recommend it!

D.D. hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Tainan. Most of the tourist attractions and famous small eateries are within walking distance. The main train station is also reachable by foot. The room is very clean and have all the necessities including tooth brush, tooth paste, hairdryer definitely more than what you’ll expect in a three star hotel. They come with a variety of complementary breakfast, everyday there are two main course options to choose from. The hotel is fairly new compare to the other hotels nearby. The staff and the manager are all very friendly and they can communicate well in English. The price is also fair. I’ll definitely come back if I have a chance!!

Great hotel, very new. Service was excellent. We were back to the hotel from beach, they showed us the faucet and kids were washing their feet. One of the service guy even helped to hold the hose so the kids can wash better, faster. Would definitely come again! Breakfast was good too!

Good location (quieter side of the West Central district) and all major attractions of downtown are within 5-15 bike rides away - yes the hotel provides free bike rental with a lock as long as you provide an ID as deposit. Decent bike with basket in front (that’s much lighter and nimble than the city bikeshare). Electric scooters are also available for rental but with a fee. Friendly and courteous staffs during daytime but in the evening only 1 staff who seems to be on the phone most of the time answering callers’ questions and might not be attending to your matters with priority (on multiple occasions). The cleaning staffs need to step up and not leave the unwashed towel kart in the hallway in the afternoon and early morning - just looks unprofessional. You can tell they put some thoughts into the design of the room - subtle colour tones, Japanese style toilet and firm/comfy bed (the one tricky thing is the switches - there’s no central panel that controls them all thus you have to walk around to turn them all on or off). Breakfast is provided in takeouts (Sep. 2021) but they are both filling & delicious (either Asian or Western style). Friendly staff also help store luggage and call taxi promptly during checkout, overall a pleasant experience!
