Spent Mother’s Day dinner here. Had high expectations. They tanked right off the bat. Garçon took us to a table, then unexpectedly said it is reserved. I asked her, “so our reservation is of the lower status type?” Very unprofessional. Waitstaff seems like temporary employed. Not to the level of this restaurant. Food came, risotto was hard and tasteless. Spaghetti was so so. Pizza was mediocre. Pig knuckle was not bad. Truffle french fries and the free bread was the only two items that was delicious. Appreciate their effort in giving the mom’s complimentary chocolate cake and a carnation. For the money, I expected much better. Sorry to say, but won’t be coming back.

Expense for dining environment rather than food.

Great atmosphere and location. Food is decent and the service is very good. Some songs they play are distracting at such a high end restaurant tho.

Ok, first things first... Kudos to Fannie & Jeremy(Jeffry the newbie) both gave excellent service which is way beyond the entire Taipei has to offer! Seriously!!!!! Food wise we had the Xmas special which was overall a good treat. We ordered a pizza as well for the kid. The starters bread came with a crab cream sauce was excellent. Didn't too bad in the mains. Except the dessert panna cottage which I felt was not that well executed. Overall cooking was done well and the doneness of the steaks were to perfection. Thanks for the free flow of beers .

As a bank provided a Birthday afternoon high tea set for a couple, it seems the inviter (bank) has paid for a 5 star service and high tea set, but we only experience 3 star (maximum) high tea and the service. First of all, it is not easy to find the location if you are in the other side of 4th floor. One of the waitresses expected us to know everything in the restaurant. After asking few basic questions, she found a waiter to serve us. After looking/checking around to see what the birthday high tea set was, we decided to order 2 more starters and a bottle of wine... Finally tried to enjoy the bad quality of the high tea tower. The starters and the wine are pricy but good. The complimentary warm cake and Pâte de fruits were yummy. Great place, we have been going here for years and alway like coming back. The crab dip is excellent. You can tell that the Da Antonia staff is putting some thoughts into the menu!

I am a bit surprised. The restaurant is very well priced for the locale. Friendly staff and very relax atmosphere. My steak was cooked well done, just what I wanted and it was still tender. Lobster was good and baked perfectly... Overall, impressed with the friendly service, good quality and price.

Okay, all the reviewers are going to get angry ? with when I tell best; I agree it's very expensive and highly pricy. But everyone should agree with the foods taste, the quality and the freshness of each and every product that was served - starting from the pickles, nuts till the ice cream that was served, everything was perfect ?. We were there for a friend's get-together for Christmas Eve. We had a standard menu 1. Wine mixed with veggies - very different, sour as a real grape ? and it was served hot, first time tasting a wine hot, it's was Christmas special. 2. Almond nuts ?, pork? pickle, and very pork ? chops sauced with chilies ? and tamarind. 3. Chrysanthemum mint tea ? - I still guess many would be surprised with the name, but this tea is really helpful for digestion. I could really feel the flower and taste of the flower 4. Christmas Cesar's salad ?- the olive oil and the crushed garlic and clove - was so intense, which was a spark to the salad, and the Caesars sauce was evenly spread, the veggies were also not soggy, it was crispy and fresh. ? 5. Cheese baked Bacon and mushrooms ?(baked) pasta ? 6. Pumpkin soup ? with tartar- the vegetables broth and pumpkin ? sauce was sweet, and the tartar sauce gave a lemon gist. The sweet abs sour combo with the garlic bread bite gave us a satisfying appetizer feel. 7. BBQ PORK ? RIBS - soft and tender but usual as always. 8. Grilled beef stew with rice ?- smart decision by the chef; he used cornstarch instead of white flour as the thickener; the small beef chunk really gave savory taste and a mouthwatering treat. 9. Grilled fish ? with cheese ? and mint sauce - it's was only okay; fish was well cooked, but not so good as a whole picture. 10. Olive oil sautéed broccoli ?, the best dish of the night, I saw that day that broccoli ? can also be cooked like this. Onions sauced in olive oil, which had a mouthwatering finish to the relishing and fresh ? broccoli. 11. Fried Sea Food platter with onion sour cream - the best starters for any drink ?. 12. Mushroom pizza ?- thin crust as well as thin dough, but the dough was too crispy, again not the best food for that day 13. Bobba and custard pudding ? - The desert that should always be light, sophisticated, and should have a great finish to the whole meal and leave a rich experience on ur taste babies. The pudding ? was just as yummy as expected ?. My mouth and taste buds were served with an Italian treat.
