★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best riverside park locations, although really all of them are fantastic. This one is geared towards cyclists, but you'll find lots of joggers and families there enjoying a day out. Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice views and great walking/biking path. Unfortunately most of the shops here aren't open. They might be open at night. I checked the place out and just about everything was closed. You can rent bikes here, but they close from 12:00-14:00 and are open before/after that.
There is a ferry available to take you to Tamsui from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to stay for peace and quiet. Has a very safe bike track. Overlooking the river, great place for children to run around. Sports and exercise area nearby. Food carts operating later in the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very popular port for the locals and visitors. It has a beautiful sunset, therefore, a popular spot for photographers also. A great place to come at sunset time, enjoy the fantastic views (most times), walk or bike along the routes. Then, just a short walking distance away is the famous Ningsha night market where one can taste many authentic Taiwanese snacks. A must visit for visitors!
