★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots to see and lots to explore, many dried goods, Chinese herbal medicine, oddities. Many stores have exhibitions or tea rooms in the posterior space, make sure to explore all of them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a place to perform Taiwanese opera, traditional poppet show, even annual Festival Fringe in Taipei. We enjoyed a great show there just on the street.( Festival Fringe, Taipei). It's should exotic enough for you to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good place to watch local theatre, there's Taiwanese opera, poppet theatre, Henan theatre …The prices are very cheap, you can spend $200 to buy the cheapest seat and not in awful area. The outside of building is under renovation now so it will be a bit hard to find the entrance. The entrance is in the south, you will see the elevator.
