★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20200501: hands down the best night market for food. really great selection--some of which we have not seen anywhere else--and reasonably priced. stomach didn't have room to try them all!
highlights were the white sugar donuts, stone grilled pork belly and sausage, and tonkatsu beef.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am giving this night market five stars as I had the best experience here. Lots of different food and drinks to choose from. Stalls are organized in a grid so you can visit each and every store without getting lost or having to back track.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Numerous variations of food, beverages, and games. Came here during Dragon Boat Festival, so it was very crowded. Sorry for not so nice picture but this place introduces me to one of the best stinky tofu I ever tried. It's located in the middle part of the third row from the main entrance. Must try!

Lucky we could visit there.
Big open air market with both local food and other non-food “stuff”.
If you want some customised name printed stickers with cartoons it’s a steal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Packed. Very local! Both mochi stalls were awesome. One is milk mochi and another wraps oranges, bananas and strawberries in mochi with your choice of flavor and coating. Also had hotteok and colorful grilled rice balls?! Pretty great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a great experience. The local foods are very tasty and the variety of vendors was immense! The prices are very good and some of the vendors know a little English. I was able to communicate with the little mandarin I know.
Will definitely go again next Friday night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good night market choice when you are in Tainan. Overall the choices of food and beverages are similar - if not the same with Garden / Flower Night Market. There are few bus stops nearby, and also taxis stand by in front if the market, so transportation is easy even if you don't drive. The night market is crowded during my visit, but nothing extraordinary. With the abundance options you have, you will definitely find something you like.
