Among all religious activities around Mazu, Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage is the biggest one. The duration usually spans 10 days 9 nights. The route covers a lot of towns and villages in central Taiwan where Mazu worship is deeply rooted in the soil and people's blood. If you visit Taichung, Changhua or Yulin during this month, why not join part of this event hailed by Discovery Channel as one of the world's 3 major religious festivals?
