Dajia Riverside Park

Lovely river bank that is easily accessible from the main road from both sides of the bridge. If you're here during the month of June. You will witness the amazing international DragonBoat competition. With team competing from all over the world in this epic team sport. I had the pleasure of supporting my good friends local team from Taipei City Language school in the Men and Women's category. Men's team finished 5th place and the women's team finished 3rd. An absolutely amazing result and even more amazing group effort. A maximum of 4 teams race at a time 500m down the Dajia river in a competition that lasts for 3days.

A place to relax, to let the kids play, picnic with family. A suitable place for light sport activities such as walking and running. There is a large parking lot, as well as for people with disabilities is also very facilitated, there are also portable toilets.

A great place to play with water n sand. There r a few food stalls selling snack, sausage, fried chicken, n drink. Toilets and wash up areas all very convenient. The fountain n sprinkle start at 1000, 1100 and from 1500, runs for 40mins each time.

A beautiful park located by the Keeling River. The atmosphere here is really peaceful on weekdays and pretty busy on weekends. I was here during the Dragon Boat festival and the energy here was pretty amazing. Taiwan seems to have there bait festival here every year. This area is very busy so you can ride you bikes, run, walk and even enjoy a lovely picnic out on the green grass. This place is pet friendly, so bring all your pets. There is an open area where kids can play with the water fountain. You can enjoy a view of Taipei 101 building on one side and the famous Grand hotel on the other side.

Great park within the city, jogging, biking(with rentals), roller blade, tennis, soccer, roller hockey, speed skating, sand box, Great Outdoor place. You can see airplane take off very closely. Excellent weekend small getaway for kids and family. Also, very nice view of 101 and Yangming mountain.

Have a great walking in the evening. Good for family cycling. A big place for exercising, play tennis. A colorful fountain till night. A long trail for cycling.

Huge park, excellent playground for kids to spend the whole day. There are two parts of swings which would separate the people, cutting short the waiting time, the slides are great too. Especially the sandpits ? remember to bring some sand toys and enjoy!!!! Besides the playground, biking and walking ?‍♀️ are all good choices.

"Dajia Riverside Park" is located on the left bank of the Keelung River. There is a magnificent straight bridge connecting the park and the Meidi Riverside on the diagonally opposite bank. Dajia Park has elegant scenery and a wide view. There are vast grasslands and large fountains in the park. There are also sports facilities such as courts. No matter whether it is morning or evening, many people can be seen walking on the river embankment trail, or walking or running, and There are several kilometers of bicycle path around the district, where you can enjoy the beautiful embankment scenery by cycling leisurely. From different angles, you can see the opposite Grand Hotel or the Miramar Ferris wheel in the distance.
