 A bridge without a bridge deck, the power of nature is amazing. Before, there are still flow cages. Now they are all demolished. Only by tracing the river can you go to the other side.

The remnants of the history leading to the Danda Forest Road, if the mountain forest is opened, if the bridge across the river can be rebuilt for the passenger car at any time in the four seasons; it will be a merit for hiking and promoting Taiwan tourism.

only on foot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is at the end of Provincial Road 16 of Taiwan, 41.3 km. It used to be a beautiful tourist spot with a road bridge and a suspension bridge, both connecting the road to Danda Forest Trail. However, a typhoon at 2008 destroyed them all. Now the government decides not to rebuild and leave the nature heal it all. Tourists can still reach the river bank where the bridges used to be through Provincial Road 16. The road is narrow all the way, only about a lane. So it is recommended to come here at weekdays or by bikes or scooters.
Start from the beginning of Provincial Road 16 and you will enter a small local village, where there is a Temporary Road 29 (臨29便道) that will reach here.
