★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice place to camp. Check to see if there is water in reservoir first. If the water level is right you can swim here, but sometime the water is too high and sometimes there is no water

You can see cranes and some largish birds of prey too.
It’s a shame there’s so much trash left behind by campers though. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for Taiwanese to take bottles and plastic containers back home...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot. The lake was super full and had flooded much of the lower part of the park which was weird and interesting to see.
The facilities there are adequate, nothing fancy. You'll definitely need bug repellent here, the small black flies are ravenous and otherwise unstoppable :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free camping site with beautiful view. It got toliet and shower but there's no hot water in shower. Grill place available but it will flooded with raining. Will definitely come again. No reservation needed so you better come early to get a good spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place. Big wide open spaces with lots of shady areas, too. Plenty of water sources, some lovely, local pets wandering through.
Nearby, there's a place that that rescues and houses dogs which are available to adopt. I was skeptical, but after talking to a man there, I saw real kindness in his eyes and a hopefulness to give these dogs a permanent home

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free waterfront camping, but because there is no power. A few douchebags bring their fully equipped jerry-rigged campers and run a generator outside to power their personal air-conditioning all night long. No money means no power and no camp guard to tell those guys how to camp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really lovely area. The free campsite is amazingly clean and tidy. Get there early to snag a pallet as camping on the grass is not allowed.
