網上說在全台18座木造車站中，最受矚目的莫過於鐵道迷口中的海線五寶，
日治時代依照同一份藍圖建築而成的木造車站，分別是談文、大山、新埔、日南、追分，
這次我們又踏上火車之旅，來到海線五寶之一的＂大山車站＂
大山車站啟用於大正十一(1922)年10月11日，當時稱「大山腳驛」附近沙丘連亙，適合栽種西瓜。日治時期，此車站以稻米運輸居多。

Dashan Station was opened on October 11, 1922, when it was called "Dashanjiao Station" near the sand dunes, suitable for planting watermelons. During the Japanese Occupation, the station was mostly used for rice transportation.
