★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good place to visit for its historic buildings along the street. Most of them are well maintained to keep the original look. You can find a lot of famous braised beancurd products here. There are also lots of wood sculptures stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend to pay a visit when you are in Taoyuan. Many old stores still remains and operating. Most of the street stores facade are designed uniquely in Baroque style. You can find stores selling tea, local snacks, wooden products and handicrafts. Can be very crowded on the weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another train also old street in Taiwan. Unique architecture and also offer many delicious Taiwanese food. There are couple parking lots but during the weekend, it is very busy so be aware of waiting for a long time. Nearby here has other sight seeing places so stop by here for good food and make your belly full before you head to your next stop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great experience all thanks to our tour guide who gave the rich history of everything from the architecture, carvings, toys and temples. The market has a wide variety of satisfying food and snacks. There are many toy stores here, almost every other store is a toy store. If you like stamps its a great place to collect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the banks of Dahan river, a beautiful old street with many cultural artifacts and shops. Many choices for street foods here. The scenery around is quite appealing. A good place for family picnics during the weekends or holidays. Can drive or ride since there is enough place for parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice casual place for a walk, there's some stores and restaurants. I went on a weekday and most of the stores were closed, not sure if it's better on weekends. A bit too quiet on weekdays in my opinion. there's also a suspension bridge you can check out. There's also a couple of temples to see if that your thing. The buildings styles there are mostly traditional. you can probably spend around an afternoon there.
