False advertisement,rate shown per day until you click into it, it's only for 2 or 3 hours. Booking company know about this.

Relatively close to the Kaoshiung station, though you have to walk a bit and over the tracks to get there. The rooms were well kempt and clean.

A pretty fancy hotel in a very quiet, very much nothing part of town. Reasonably priced, and for rather fancy rooms. Service was fine, breakfast is rather poor (as with most hotels it seems), so avoid if possible. The room I got had heaps of space, even included a mini living room and space for a standard double room. One of the fewer hotels that you can flush toilet paper down it seems. On location, on the map it has a close proximity to the main station. However, do note that if you're traveling within kaoshiung, the kaoshiung main station isn't actually the main station, the Formosa Boulevard is. This station is actually the main transfer station between the regional trains and local commuters. To get to the MRT (as opposed to regional trains) from the hotel, you'll have to climb up and down a rather high pedestrian bridge. There are no shops of ANY kind in the immediate surroundings of the hotel as it lies in a very quiet street and looks very out of place. I enjoyed my stay nonetheless, good value for money, clean rooms, big toilets, friendly service.

For the price (I paid AUD$56 for business twin room), I think it's a good deal. We got twin beds and spacious lounge area, with breakfast included. If you're into Western type breakfast, you'll be disappointed. However, if you like Asian dishes, they provide quite a selection. The room furnishings are a bit old but seriously for the price, it's reasonable. The area is quiet and there's a night market nearby (Jilin night market which more locals attend and no road closure). Besides that, there's nothing much.
