The Department of Taiwan Literature, National Cheng Kung University, formerly the former residence of General Chen Yonghua... Huangbo Temple, one of the "Seven Temples and Eight Temples" in the city, was originally the former residence of Chen Yonghua. After the fall of Ming Zheng, it was uninhabited. In 1688, Zuoying garrison officer Meng Taizhi donated money to build a temple called Huangbo Temple. After Chen Yonghua’s former residence was rebuilt, many people from the Tiandihui sent alms to the monastery and hid in Huangbo Temple, and Huangbo Temple became a counterpoint. An important stronghold for Qing Fuming. During the Japanese Occupation, Huangbo Temple was already dilapidated. The temple was demolished and turned into a nursery test nursery. Later, the railway bureau staff dormitory was built here, and it was also bombed during the Second World War. In 1917, it was built as the Japanese Army Garrison Hospital (former 804 General Hospital, Tainan Army Hospital). In 1960, it was renamed the 804th General Hospital of the Army (now Taoyuan General Hospital of the National Army) and moved to Taoyuan City in 1987. After the hospital was relocated, the original site was transferred to National Cheng Kung University as a campus campus in 2000. It was announced as a historic site in Tainan City on June 18, 2003. After restoration, it became the Department of Taiwan Literature of the school in 2013. Pavilion.
