Most of the carvings are painted, so it is much more colorful than many others, but to us the coloration was overpowering and gaudy, detracting from their impressiveness. Worth checking it out if you're in the area already for the night market, but not something to set as a destination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Taoist Temple located in ok need of Taiwan's most famous food market, Miaoko, Outside Entrance of Temple. The Temple was first built in 1873 and completed in 1875 and then rebuilt in 1923 and 1964.
