★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 位於南投縣信義鄉地利村或者原住民語布農族語名為達瑪巒的一所小學，學校門口即有達瑪巒的村落意象，沿著學校外牆的邊坡上也有彩色的傳統神話故事的浮雕，蠻精美的也很有趣。地利村小而精美，學校門口外面就是派出所，看起來是個蠻安全的地方，晚上居民也會來到學校校園活動，算是交流聯誼的好場所。村落裡面的狗在互相吠叫在國小裡也都聽得到，學校裡面還有一隻右耳剪過結紮過的小橘貓，很可愛會默默地走過來討人撫摸，然後又慢慢的離去。
站在教室走廊外頭就是和地利村隔著濁水溪的治茆山，鐘形的山頭明顯而優美，距離之近讓人有種被大自然環繞的感覺，達瑪巒是個讓人來一次就愛上的地方！
