★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best place for traditional Chinese cuisine
I especially recommend the steamed dumplings here
But basically everything you find in this restaurant wouldn’t let you down
I also tried chocolate xiaolongbao and it was surprisingly delicious
Overall, great food with excellent service
But a bit pricy, tho it’s totally worth the price

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Epic food! Everytime I travel to Taipei, I eat several times at Din Tai Fung 101. Xiaolong Baos are super juicy and tasty and combined with some great appetizers, you get a very compelling and high quality meal. Unfortunately the only EU branch is in London. Hopefully more Din Tai Fungs will be opened accross Europe soon, since you cannot find anything comparable in Germany yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really as special as advertised. The food is so so but the price is too much. Also, we need to wait too long and they did not offer the online booking. However, the staffs are friendly and well-trained. The restaurant is clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, nice staff, strategically located, wide selection. Xiao long bao was super good, wonton with some mala sauce has super strong taste, and pork braised with fried rice was super juicy. Such a great meal in the great night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with a good vibe and perfect service. Waitress have been right at our site, as we needed something. The dumplings have been very good! The beef soup was how and tasty. The taroballs have been sweet and yummy. The fried rice was good and even better with the hot sauce from the wonton. The wonton with the hot sauce have been lovely spicy, but not to hot! We've been lucky and got directly a table for the four of us. Usually you have to stand in a line and wait a while until you get a table. As dessert, we've had some taroballs which are really good and mouthwatering. This place is 100 percent recommendable and for sure we come back somewhen. Din Tai Fung 101 is a chain restaurant with sides around the world. Give it a try, you will be happy and your wallet will thank you, as it is not really expensive. Once again, all in all 100 percent recommendable and worth to visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit for anyone who's in Taipei. The level of service is great here. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
The food is very good and is always on point. The soup dumplings are the best I've tried anywhere. Fried rice with prawns, very good.
Simply said, everything was delicious!!
The chocolate dumplings were surprisingly good. Not too sweet and had a rich chocolate flavour.
I would say the prices are not expensive even from an international perspective. This Taipei 101 branch has a prime location as well.
Well worth a visit.
A tip is to be there right when they open or otherwise you'll most likely have to queue to get a table.
