★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best DTF for dine in since the original one is only for take out now during the pandemic. It's got 3 floors with a wait for more than 30 minutes typically. The decor is modern and clean with top notch service. It's must try restaurant for tourist in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly opened this year and the best part is that you can make reservations! Like this facility a lot, tables have good distances and lots of natural lights. Of course, food and services are just as good as they have always been! Love DTF!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here for a family dinner. All the soup dumplings were decent but my favorite was the fried rice with shrimps. For desserts, definitely try the taro dumplings. The service was overall good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this relatively new opening Din-Tai-Fung - courteous staff as expected, plus the spacious settings. Perfect for delicate dumplings and many more delicious dishes!
Update:
I had such a good experience last week. I came back for the same enjoyment this week. As food as before, I even ordered new dishes that I didn’t taste before.

My highest recommendation. I’d give 6 stars if there is a possibility!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brand new 2020 location just down the street from the original. Really beautiful and simple design. It's 3 floors, but there's still a wait. Download the app so you can take a number and walk around while you wait. Pork and Shrimp pot stickers, cucumbers, and fried rice with a pork chop are the best dishes to order. Service is amazing. Don't miss if you're local or visiting. Everyone loves this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if it's only this location or what, but most dishes taste bland and flavourless here. Pickled cucumber is basically raw cucumber with a dash of chili oil that taste nothing. Almost like they forgot to actually pickle it properly. My favourite layer cake has absolutely no flavour what so ever.
Only two dishes still remain its standard which is stir-fry cabbage and fried rice.
Super disappointed and I don't think we will go back to this fancy looking but flavourless location.
