★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a Japanese village in Japan rule period, while no obvious evidence could be found currently, the tea farms, trails, bamboo forests, and homestays are quite impressive. In the mid spring, you can even enjoy firebug watching.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pleasant enough walk but nothing as spectacular as up at Alishan National Park. The trail here starts at the end of the road at the village. Yes there some interesting rock formations and trees but nothing spectacular and it is a way off the beaten track.
