★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic food and very spicy, i've had the same crispy chicken in Singapore but the taste is no where close to Dongmen Night Market one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small nightarket by Taiwan standards. Came on a weekday so it was nice and quiet. If you want a bit quieter and have enough space to walk comfortably, this would be a good choice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the best few night markets I’ve been to. do come early because once it starts getting crowded you’ll won’t have as good of a time. there’s an area for food, for games and for shopping, good balance! :) love the grilled king oyster mushrooms hehe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ small but cozy night market, not as expensive as the neighboring city's Luodong Night Market. If you aren't a night market person but just want to try some local food, Dongmen is much better. I absolutely loved the iced beancurd with flour balls somewhere down in the middle of the first alley off the main street

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there for the food and the night market was just opening. We had a "Dan ping" which was good but the tempura stall's cooking oil was completely black which is a sign of overuse of the frying oil. Beware of eating food from these places as the food has trans fats which are really bad for health. There was a nice hot pot place on the left of the fruit stalls inside and their food was reasonable and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small night market with the usual fare for food snacks, meals and basic shopping. Very reasonable pricing for most items. Don't expect it to be similar to some of the bigger night markets that can boast of a myriad of eating and shopping options. This one can be over and done within less than an hour easily even as a first timer (not including any sit down meal time).

and you would find out, you meet the same food stand after 5-8 steps, ha
don't ask me which I would recommend to you.... come on, I am Taiwanese, I had eaten at thousands of night markets on this island
