The design image reflect the winter gourd trellis (Dongshan's original name in Chinese is Winter Gourd Mountain). The train approachs to the trellis remind the passengers Dongshan Station is arriving.

Great covered playground with artificial grass and a slide, right under the railway bridge. Nicely done. Perfect for a family with kids to play outdoors on rainy days/ kill time while waiting for the next train.
