★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view on the top of the triangulation station of Dongyan Mt. is spectacular and you may see the whole Taoyuan, New Taipei and Taipei cities all the way to the estuary of Gandhi River. The forest trails are complete and friendly with anti-skidding strips on wooden walkway. The ecosystem is diverse and rich. Absolutely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very big and well kept forest with easy gravel walk along its West edge, and more challenging up and down steps trail, it's not very long and no special equipment is necessary, there's visitor centre and multiple toilets, also many great picnic tables, lighting fires is forbidden, so definitely no BBQing, entrance ticket is 100NTD for an adult and another 100NTD for a parking, make sure to arrive in the morning as they close at 5p.m. great place for a day out in nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place for a leisure walk and take in all the beautiful natural landscape. Just notice the path may get slippery after showers or rainy moments. But if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle city fast pace, it’s definitely a great place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This recreation has entrance fee 80NT each adults. Students/Seniors/Taoyuan Residents has a discount. Parking fee for car is 100NT and 20NT for motor (not sure). This recreation is more on hiking the fresh air is relaxing. it feels like we are wondering inside the forest. ???
