A great place to use a laptop and nice buy delicious dessert! Stayed here for 9 hours undisturbed. If I had noting else to do id stay here all day and work on my laptop and homework.

It’s questionable when the server said there is no way to put the choco topping instead of cinnamon? If the final step to serve a coffee before the lid is just change the powder instead, why so stubborn tho? And you can just tell me this is caused by the quality... Btw if I can choose not having my cappuccino with cinnamon as a selection, what is the reason that if I could not buy a serve of chocolate powder by chance?

VERY nice environment - a bit on the expensive side but similar to other coffee shops. Spacious upstairs seating - good place to sit and think, or visit with friends.

For a chain coffee shop that looks fancy and has decent desserts and coffee, it is a bit disappointing how impolite the staff is time and time again. Customer service is a must at an establishment like this, but every time, the staff have been abrupt, rude, impatient, and unhelpful. And it shocks me how inflexible they are with a simple request to a coffee order. They offer different kind of syrup flavors for their lattes. Since I am allergic to milk, I asked for the available syrup to be put in an americano and I was rudely refused. I even offered to pay the latte price. All they have to do is take the americano and add the syrup into it but they treated me as if I was inconveniencing them. When I asked to speak to a manager, they also rudely brushed the request aside. Unfortunately, me not coming back again to this shop will not affect it much since there are still so many customers. But there are enough coffee shops in Taichung, that I don’t need to spend money at one without good customer service. Advice to the managers and owners of Donutes - train your staff.
