It was high tide and mirror reflection was not good
Suggest you check the tide schedule forecast before visit to avoid disappointment

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pretty beach with glittery sand and it does look great for swimming and surfing, BUT super smelly. It's located right next to a landfill facility. People might not smell it when they go in the water, but if you try to look for shade near the trees, be prepared for the smell.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love it! Soft black sand, great place for swimming and boogie boarding with family. Had to walk a bit to get to the sand only part [tough life] but it was great. Rip tide warning at right side of beach [looking at sea].

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went 2 days in a row. First day was windy and a bit rough, second day was much nicer. Tried to surf and the waves mostly closed out. Was a great place for my family to have a surf lesson in the white water. There are 2 roads down to the beach and both roads seemed to be closed at times.
