★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food wasn't exceptionally tasty but has a nostalgic charm to it and the atmosphere here is slightly chaotic and rowdy especially during peak hours (expect a 10 mins q). The food they serve is simple yet flavourful, the true embodiment of taiwanese food. Also it is very very affordable and for that it is a 5 star from me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delicious food, duck obviously is their specialty. The owner and staffs are very nice and friendly though they didn't speak much English. We showed the photo of the dishes we want. Portion is more than sufficient. We paid TWD 240 for 2 bowls of the rice with duck, 1 portion of duck drumstick and stir-fried vegetables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super long queue. Its good but hmmm.. Not out of this world? Guess it's just the fact that it's duck mixed with the usual braised pork rice. It's also weird because you have to find a table and then queue for the food, which is fine if you're not alone. But what happens if you're here alone?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a divey place but the food is good. If you don't mind dives, this place is everything duck under the sun....or rain in our case. This super no frills joint is basically snag a table and get on line and order your food. The food comes very quickly. We managed to snag a table real quick and ordered almost everything on the menu except innards. The vermicelli soup with duck was good. My family ordered the duck with rice and pork lard. They enjoyed it while we opted to skip that. The duck is pretty lean and I believe it's boiled. The plum sauce is not overwhelming but just right. We got two plates of greens that were tea KY fresh garlicky and amazing. Def give this a shot if in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t think of a better way to start the day than with a bowl of Duck Zhen’s lavish braised duck rice. The meat was tender and had the perfect amount of fat, keeping it juicy, the braised beef melted together with the rice for a luxurious bite each time.
We also ordered their soup that comes with duck gizzard, intestines, and liver ?The meal woke us up and inspired a whole day of food-seeking.

I prefer the duck soup more, the broth is quite nice
The queue is quite long, especially on holiday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid 245 NTD for everything. Really good duck. Probably the best duck dish I've had anywhere. Be on time since this place is busy all the time. I stood in line for 30 minutes. I would suggest not going here alone unless you're buying for takeaway.
One or more people can get a table first and you can stand in line. There's only a menu on the wall so you have to tell the staff what you want. The owner remembers all the orders and do not even write them down, incredible.
A must visit if you like duck.
