The Shimizu Shrine was established here during the Japanese rule, and was destroyed and demolished by the people and the National Army after the restoration. At present, only the roads leading to the shrine and a few remains are left. From the stone steps on the right side of the Aofeng Activity Center in Qingshui Town, it is a ramp to Qingshui Park. The road sign indicates "After the Japanese rule", and it can be seen that the top is the "Shuishui Shrine" site. "Niu Shou Tou Site Cultural Park, Qingshui District, Taichung City."

In fact, I went to Ziyun to pay respects and buy rice cakes on the return trip. The child saw the long stairs and wanted to climb, so I walked with him. Only when I climbed up did I know that there is a cave. The staircase itself was the way of worship for the Shimizu Shrine (1937) in the Japanese occupation period. The monument is on the side of the top of the staircase (climbing to the top is the area of Aofeng Mountain Park). The history of the stele is also interesting. Wikipedia writes: “To commemorate the 326 local deaths caused by the 1935.04.21 earthquake, the Japanese colonial government established a memorial, which was later covered in marble with lettering by the mayor of Shimizu. The cultural bureau of the county government once wanted to restore it, but because a professor in Donghai should respect the history of each period of the building, he finally retained the current appearance without changing it."

Look for it because it's behind the stairs Not the earthquake of 921, but earlier

Nothing more than a rock monument, but the steap Housando steps leading up to it, which was apparently use to be a backdoor to the shrine, was somewhat cool.

Travel - Easy to go we took Uber from Asia university just 90 NTD. It was such a good place for learning science and history at the same time. But I’m lucky that I went there with my friends who can translate everything for me. There is a lot of good spots there for taking a cool picture. Ps. I feel a little bit depressed. When I saw the collapsed building.
