★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 在數百年前荷據時期，此地舊名稱為「荷蘭埤」，湖泊與對面巴克禮紀念公園內月牙灣狀的夢湖本是一塘，因地下水源豐富，為竹溪的發源地之一。台南市立文化中心興建時，利用原本的湖泊水域設置雕塑藝術搭配造景。
During the Dutch occupation hundreds of years ago, this place was formerly named "Holland Pi". The lake and the crescent-shaped Dream Lake in the Bakeli Memorial Park opposite were originally a pond. Because of the abundant underground water, it is one of the birthplaces of Zhuxi . When the Tainan City Cultural Center was built, the original lake waters were used to set up sculpture art to match the scenery.
