Great cake shop in Shilin!!

Great old style cake shop with solid cheesecake

Brownies are my favorite.

Average cake but price is relatively cheap.

The cheese pie is quite tasty.

I had about 14 different products from this shop and over all they are good. Nothing really is a hit but they all taste OKAY. However, it's a bit pricey. Given the serving size is (really) small, the price is somehow expensive. For a tiny slice of cake, its price ranges from $ 40 ~$65. Nothing I can recommend since there isn't really anything standing out compared to other known cake shops.

Products are good and a bit unique, a solid B to B+. However there's a pretty rude lady, who wears glasses? Anytime you don't say what you want aloud in a loud humming environment she gets visibly annoyed. Because of the way they set up the shop the cashiers cannot see what you're pointing at. On separate occasions (because I can't read all the items in Chinese) the lady would get annoyed. I said the labeled English after attempting the Chinese twice and she turned away from me without saying a word, quite annoyed and getting two other people to serve me, the first also not knowing English either. I would be fine with this since I'm the foreigner except the items have English on it and her response was clearly rude. Why have English on your items if you don't know what they are. The first time maybe I could understand if she had a bad day... but two times and the same problem... it's on her. And because of that I'm not coming back. Tokyo Paris' Sweets(東京巴黎甜點) are much better anyway and they're way more courteous.
