和食EN 日本料理 - Section 3

Got the full tasting menu. Service is good and food is pretty good, but pacing a bit inconsistent. The sashimi course and the grilled fish course and the dessert course could have been better so only 3 stars.

The food was fine, and quite creative. However, there is definitely room for improvement on service, for example: the reception and the cashier is the same person, so when we arrived at the restaurant today, we had to wait for two customers ahead of us to pay the bill first before we could be led in and seated...

I initially wasn't a fan of this place. The limited menu seemed kind of boring to me. Now this is one of my favorite Japanese places in Taipei. The food is always fresh and the chicken is free range. The menu has gotten slightly bigger over the years. Must try their tofu. Their free dessert with the combos are also very good. This place is not cheap, but this is what you can expect with the quality ingredients. The service is not necessarily bad. They are a little more rough than you would expect at an establishment like this.

Nice Japanese bistro with lots of selections. The service is nice too. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, a light and simple combo!

Despite of having various Japanese cuisine now in Taipei, EN is still one of the places that I would recommend my friends to have a proper Japanese dinning experience. Fresh and fine ingredients are certainly what they would like to offer to their customers. Great environment and friendly, knowledgeable staffs bring the experience more lovely.

I love this restaurant very much. My number one favorite is the seafood salad. It’s very refreshing and it has a variety of veg and seafood. Very tasty. Other dishes such as sashimi, fried chicken, and lightly salted dried fish are good too. Highly recommended!

Arrived restaurant name EN Japanese Cuisine and I was lead by the manager to a corner table near emergency exit door. Set menu 10 courses. The first two course was arrive so fast. Later I informed one waitress slow down my meal , but seem she not noticed the massage, the four course came and my third course was not serving. I ask her how come my third course not here and you bring me my four course, and I don’t want in this way as I come here to enjoy my dinner not for your to rush me like I’m dining in fast food restaurant. I call the guy look like manger but he doesn’t speak English he look like Japanese so I told him in mandarin please as this is set dinner please serve me in the correct way not fast food. I noticed those who in charge for the food calling is try her best to rush me so maybe they want the table back ASAP . So terrible service here. And the service here also terrible, staff bring food to table just put on table and leave. Of course , I’m looking this as private restaurant not in hotel standard. If I’m hotel this is extremely out of basic service standard , I rather pay the 10% service charge ( $NT120) to my hotel housekeeper who clean my room daily. One of the waitress came back and just clear the plates away never ask feedback. I have 3 more courses to go, the restaurant is not so busy but still have few tables is available. Food : average Service : below （ most of the staff serving my table didn’t smiles ） total bill : &1320NT.
