★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go by motor bike or cycle up to the top of the mountain from Xindian MRT station. Have ridden up there a few times, enjoyed the tea gardens and the scenery. I have taken a bus from Xindian, and a motorbike up just past the Wulai turnoff and then gone for a run up the mountain and ridden the bus back again. At the top of the mountain there are a few teahouses that sell a decent sandwich with tea or coffee.
