★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a stroll on Xmas eve. 5 floors of home deco, clothing, books and stationery. Has a nice “CN Flower” flower shop on ground floor that carries beautiful albeit pricy Christmas wreaths.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually quite awesome and creative, but very unsafe for tall people. Like an unfun video game, prepare to dodge at least 30 ceiling obstacles by the time you leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Eslite Nan-Shi Store is very conveniently located on Nan-Jin west road near the exit of 中山 MRT station.
You can do a lot of shopping and eating within the nearby area.
Most of the department stores here are recently renovated and they brought new restaurants and inject a new vibe into the location.
the Eslite store has many featured shops within it's worth noted that the theme of this store is hand made goods or cultural creative items that are unique and rare to find elsewhere.
There's also a bookstore upstairs but I don't really enjoy reading here as some of the ceiling space here makes you feel pressured.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places in Taipei. It sells a great selection of local designer’s goods and is easy to be accessed either by bus or MRT. It is also a nice place to buy gifts. You could visit many other stores hidden behind its building as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book stores are no longer as stocked as well as they used to be. This one is adequate. One problem is that the foreign language books are all in one section which is not easy to find it you don't know it's there. They do have a decent but small selection. I would have liked to have seen then categorized better. The rest of the department store is also good.
