P	PACA C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eslite Bookstore they’ve done many renovations! Not just sell books. They do sell foods, cans, wine, fresh fruits.
D	Drlogan Drlee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit for book lovers, afterall, it's the flagship store. Food court more high end but limited in selections compared to nearby Mitsukoshi. But it's not called the flagship store for nothing, and you can easily spend 1hr here and be truly inspired by some of the books they stocked here. Have lunch or tea inside and forget about the cold or heat outside.

Customer sales records are being used by scammers (who sound like they are from/in China) to try to trick people to divulge their bank account details. Eslite should improve security and proactively notify impacted customers.

Yes, a 24-hour bookstore that doubles up as a quintessentially Taiwanese institution. Readers young and old can peruse books and magazines at their hearts’ content. Make sure to check out the “Eternal Memories” section on the third floor (main bookstore level). There you will see romantic nostalgia on the most breath-taking level: Eslite’s original flagship re-built — wood panel by wood panel — harkening back to the heady days when the 24-hour bookstore concept was launched as an experiment that never ended. Late-night cafe, extensive English-language section, fantastic record store, and grocery market complete your charmed visit.

Basically a multilevel shopping mall with a bit of everything as well as some interesting surprises that you're unlikely to find elsewhere. Lots of places to eat or get coffee, and connected to the Taipei City Hall complex as well so you will have numerous options.
