★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only 4 stars due to the more inconvenient location. If you have your own transport then it's OK, but without it you'd be struggling.
Good amenities, nice (enough) rooms, weird shaped swimming pool only suitable for kids paddling, and a gym that does the job.
I'd happily pay $2,500 or so. But, over that, I think there are better options with more convenient locations.

front desk and other staff members were friendly and helped us as English-speakers. The room was spacious.....the experience at this hotel was all positive and perfect perfect perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel over the weekend. The buffet and Breakfasts were superb in my opinion. The hotel is clean and the rooms are of a generous size and for me the location was ideal. It's without a doubt that I'd return to the hotel as I personally found it very comfortable and the hotel staff were awesome indeed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice upscale hotel with basement parking for hotel guests. Very attentive and friendly service with fast check in.
There's a cake shop/patisserie and bar in the lobby. The pool isn't massive but the water jets and warm water made it really appealing.
If you're into walking, the hotel is about 3km from the main sights in the city centre. A taxi ride to the Confucius Temple is about 150 NT$.
All in all, the hotel is highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay here for 1 month..great stuff..great facilities..swimming pool, gym, sauna,spa, great breakfast very generous, really a lot of variety of food, too bad I am fasting for Ramadhan month, lots of parking space at the basement...overall my stay here has been amazing by the staff kindness..love it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best part of the hotel is the spa. The unisex spa had both hot tub and cold tub. There is a steam room and sauna. The pool outside was cold but open if you are willing to swim in cold waters. It was warmer than the cold spa but just a little. The room was comfortable and had a nice view despite booking the reservation thru Agoda.
