The construction base of this park was formerly the land used by Zhonghe Textile Corporation. After the relocation of Zhonghe Textile, Taichung City was re-planned in 2015, and 30% of the original factory land, about 1.6 hectares, was moved to the park land, which was finally completed in 2022. . This park is a flood detention pond type park. Most flood detention parks will not include toilets at the beginning of planning, so this park naturally does not have toilets. The entrance of the park is located at the intersection of Changchun Street and Mayuanxi West Road. The plastic art installation at the entrance also includes a chimney from the past, which has a contrasting beauty. In addition to the plastic art installation at the entrance, the most special should be the pavilion here. The awning is colored, opaque and transparent. Under the result of the sun in the daytime, the color is obvious, and the seats in the pavilion are made of glass bricks. After the night falls, the lights in the glass bricks will automatically turn on, not only for the public to rest and ride, but also to provide lighting effects. There is a river in the park, you can walk beside the river or in the river to watch the scenery. There are two pedestrian landscape bridges on the river. It is also very pleasant to walk here; on the other side of the river, it is completely different. There are a few big trees and some sloping mounds for people to rest, but... I personally feel that it is a bit unlucky.... There are also some stone tables and chairs and sports equipment for people to rest or exercise. The most special thing is that the floors of the tables and chairs and the sports area are soft cushions.
