A new department stores. Beautiful design, but poorly organized route. Not a kids friendly place. The diaper changing table is horizontally placed...

Very nice department store. It’s probably the newest in town and the Hooters on 14. floor is a complete legend. Long story short. It’s the best department store in Taiwan at the moment… beginning of 2022

Being the standalone building in Xinyi District surrounded by other department store franchises, Far Eastern A13 managed to become one of the prominent establishments. Highlights of this department store will be: -the aestehtically appealing Apple Store connected to it via underground pass; -Muvie Cinema, the premium branch of the Vieshow Cinema previous owned by Warner Brothers; -food court with reminiscent decor symbolizing the old downtown of Taipei; and -exclusive stores and branches rarely seen elsewhere in Taiwan (e.g. Lego, Carhartt, etc.). Albeit with all eye catching features above, customers should be aware of some of its minor deficiency: -transportation via car or motorcycle: has few entrances to its parking lot (one at a lesser known lane, entering from Songgao Rd.); -mildly confusing escalator design in some floors (maybe for urging customers to go pass to the other end so customers can browse through more stores); -distsnce from MRT station; and -limited options for afternoon tea. Overall, this department store should be thr right spot to hang around and relax for some half of a day.

Disappointed that the elevators are always taken by lazy people who don’t need to take them and could easily take the escalators. When people with strollers or wheelchairs or simply old people wait for long minutes every time they want to go to another floor. When the door finally open you see it is too full to get in so you wait again from 0 as you have to recall another one. The third lift shouldn’t be kept for VIP (please, who is a vip in a commercial center?!) These elevators should be controlled to be only used by people who really need them ! Do something !!!

Very impressive design. Most floors are simple and spacious. But the classic food floor is modeled after a historic Taiwan old Street and is so beautiful. Really worth seeing for the views and design. Also this mall has a great mix of high, mid, and low end shops and restaurants. Really a lot for everyone at this mall.

Sunrise buffet. More like a cafeteria. Not much for ambiance, very simple basic decor, almost institutional. But vast selection of food, which was generally quite good. Huge seating capacity, and VERY crowded. If you have a huge appetite, and don't care much about atmosphere, this might be a good choice.

Food court area in the new (2 years old) 遠東 in Xinyi. The department store itself is quite boring and full of luxury retailers, but this old fashioned street scene really makes it worth a visit! Everything, down to the chairs is from the 50s-70s. There are a couple tea shops, Haagen Dazs, chicken stores, local eateries, etc. Very quaint and cozy!!
