I think it's okay but sometimes the doctors have too many patients and waiting time takes forever. Last time I waited 4 hours just to get some CT scan results because there were over 100 patients waiting for their turn. Not sure how normal this amount of people is but it's definitely excessive.

Second Dose update: Gotta give props to the hospital admins for regularly updating their website with all the necessary details. They even sent text messages informing me about when I could begin registering for the second dose. Although the UI was in Chinese, one could easily use it with Google Chrome's translation option. The vaccination process itself was very smooth and organized. The staff did their absolute best in keeping everyone and everything organized Came here for getting the Covid-19 vaccine. In my humble opinion, the entire process of getting vaccinated (from booking an appointment to completing the paperwork) was really well organized. The staff here were really polite and helpful. I'd certainly recommend coming here as early as possible to avoid the crowds

Far Eastern hospital is one of the largest medical centers in New Taipei City with efficient and friendly staff and wonderfully helpful volunteer workers. You’ll never get lost in this huge but spotless clean hospital. Not to mention the high quality and professional medical team. There is an Eslite here and a food court on B1. Just had my spine surgery here. Nothing to complain but praises to sing.

I've been to this hospital a number of times to visit the clinic doctors, who are usually very nice and professional. I recently visited the ER and had to wait for over 3 hours. 1 hour to do my tests and 2 hours waiting for the doctor to come back and tell me the results. All while sitting in an uncomfortable chair in a hallway. I had to finally ask one of the doctors or nurses walking around if I was just supposed to continue sitting there waiting. No one came to check on me to see how I was feeling. Despite them knowing I was in pain. Told one doctor my pain was increasing but they didn't do anything. They also put the covid test waiting patients in the same area as people who have tested negative. The doctor's English was very broken, but I won't fault her for that as she tried her best.

Making appointments online (for returning patients) is also much easier than other hospital systems. Also thanks to the friendly volunteers there who helped me get from one place to the next. For those going for the first time: 1. go to the check in counter on the first floor (get a ticket number from kiosk first), set up basic information) 2. Go to the stand next to the escalators (can be seen from check in counter) to measure blood pressure and height (one time thing) 3. Go to medical branch desired and check in at their counters 4. “Check in” with the doctors office by inserting NHS card in slot by the door 5. Wait for your number to be called (After seeing the doc) 6. Go back to 1st floor check in counter and grab kiosk ticket# for payment, wait to be called and pay. 7. Go to pharmacy sector (walk through corridor stage right of check in counter, you’ll see multiple lines for the pharmacy on your right) notice number and color on your medicine slip and get in line that corresponds with color.

I want to especially give a big thank you to doctor 麥玲琴 in the ophthalmology department. Dr. Mai is knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. You can tell that she is remarkably passionate about her line of work. She makes sure her patient is well taken care of. She takes her time to explain to us and get to the problem of the eyes and make she cures it. After 6 months of treatment, my father has brand new eyesight and is incredibly happy with his result. I also want to mention 驗光師 王郁淇 in the Optometry room. He is very detailed when it comes to making sure you have the correct vision result to pair with your selection of eyeglasses. He also has great fashionable selections of frames for you to choose from. We are grateful to have professional people who take care of their patients like their own. I highly recommend coming to see them for your next ophthalmology check-up. English and Mandarin are both were well communicated. ??????

It’s a great hospital also right at MRT, yet you need one hour and half, yes, 1.5 hours waiting till you can pay… already one hour still have 200 people ahead in line…,
