The only bus stop in the area with a walkway and benches. In some cases, you may be able to make a procession by switching to Alishan and returning to Chiayi.

喔，對了，習慣使用信用卡自動加值悠遊卡的旅客，公車上是沒辦法自動加值呦（火車站的票閘倒是可以 ?）
因此，卡片至少要有來回共340元的餘額喔 ?（此為106年12月的票價）

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read the signs and information. Follow the other people. There are other “helpful” people that will try to trick you that you already missed the bus and should buy their service instead.
Bus to Alishan is about 96 per person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For weekends, please head to the bus terminal a little down the road instead of waiting at this bus stop. The private hire drivers there will try to mislead and confuse you into engaging in their exorbitant services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupid bus company installed the sign at the bus stop at the parking lot (奮起湖) that THIS station (奮起湖終點站) will be temporary out of service. Isn't it obvious that you put the sign in the stop that is out of service? Very tourist friendly, the sign is in Chinese only as well.
Anyway, this stop is out of service as of 12/10/2021.
