★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 前往瀑布需陡下600公尺，大概1500多石階，步道落葉青苔遍佈，需小心行走。瀑布區石頭溼滑，千萬要小心。步道入口到瀑布大約30分，回程大概40分。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 步道算滿陡的，且還算濕滑！下去時多注意些！上來時就還好10幾分鐘就夠了。沿路許多柿子樹等等的植被，還算涼快。潭水頗深需注意，每一步約多30-50公分。近期盡量11點前回到停車場

最後終點瀑布好看，水質良好，

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳳凰瀑布距離嘉義算滿近的，來這裡的人不多，瀑布下有個大池水很清澈，沿著溪流也有許多魚在岩石間悠遊，岩石上有些青苔要避免滑倒。從嘉義來這裡經過半天岩紫雲寺沿著159甲大華公路走，路邊里程指標23.5km再拐個小彎就看到步道的入口了，如同嘉義的北回歸線23.5度很好記。入口可停一兩部車子或機車，沿大華公路往東50公尺處有間番路鄉公所蓋的化妝室。從入口到瀑布的步道長度約600公尺，海拔向下的落差約200公尺，是陡下的階梯，但間距很小要小心走或者乾脆就一次跨兩階。有在爬山的人下去約20分鐘，上去約25分鐘。
Phoenix Waterfall is very close to Chiayi. There are not many people here. There is a large pool under the waterfall with very clear water. Coming here from Chiayi, pass Bantianyan Ziyun Temple and walk along the 159 Jiadahua Highway. One or two cars or locomotives can be parked at the entrance, and there is a dressing room built by Jianfan Road Township Office 50 meters east of Dahua Highway. The length of the trail from the entrance to the waterfall is about 600 meters, and the drop from the altitude is about 200 meters. There are people who are climbing the mountain and it takes about 20 minutes to go down and about 25 minutes to go up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022-4-29 階梯沒那麼恐怖啦。下去要看好踏點不要求快，上來調整呼吸不要一次走太多階就沒問題。這個跟雲潭瀑布，青年嶺步道一樣，走下去再爬上來。而且單趟頂多3，40分鐘就走完了。也很有秘境感，距離嘉義也很近。下一層的瀑布應該是沒路可走，除非有專業的瀑布垂降技巧跟裝備。這邊也出過死亡意外，就是滑入上面的水潭，被沖到下面的瀑布卡住。可以搜尋一下新聞。所以最好還是別下水。
入口前方有個公用廁所，前面彎道較寬處也可以停車。

There is a public toilet in front of the entrance, and parking is also possible at the wide corner in front.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just walk 45 minutes from the parking, some of the stair are straight , but it’s really amazing, I loved it , water was clean , chill and cold , fresh air
I will recommend it to visit , I am going to bring my friends there
Note : if you want to go inside water , careful because inside the water stones are slippery
