Best Restaurant in Taiwan

J	Jennifer Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure if they know how to operate a restaurant during one of the busiest times of the year. Booked a table with no problem yet upon arrival the restaurant was incredibly packed and no waiters were available to even just greet. It turned out the table was outside because “we had too many reservations so this is why you’re put outside”. We received no reminders at all. Such lousy attitude is funny to see during holidays like this. We waited 30 minutes for a table, while the waitress was incredibly inpatient with literally everything. We were finally sat down and just realised the menu changed too! How jolly! The worst dining experience ever! If you are looking to make a reservation, make triple or quadruple times of sure you are booked in with an actual table, not next to a freaking bus stop.
人	人生如戲 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dessert fits the taste if you like the sweety one. My main dish is Estidado with Peru rice. The rice tastes different from the usual rice in Taiwan. Chicken also tastes nice, but not very different from other normal stewed chicken of western food

And I hope the waiters could be more professional and considerate. Not Wheelchairs-friendly. For soup, the tomato ? soup was yummy ? and flavorful, the pesto chicken soup was also great(if you like cloves of garlic). Appetizers: 1) The oysters' mushrooms were tasteless, they should at least provide some salt ? or dips. It was kinda scary to chew that tasteless food lol 2) The lemon ? seafood combo was so good ? Probably the best in town. Fresh ingredients and dressing. Main course: pork adobo was okay, the meat itself was too chewy. Chicken stew was fantastic, toddlers friendly. Dessert: rice pudding was great ?? Drinks: average level, not very impressive. Service: 3 stars, could improve. Washroom: clean and not smelly. Overall: would come back again, nice dining atmosphere.

Ordered another chicken dish instead, asked for bread and fries instead of rice. The server lady was very nice and accommodating, so she asked the chef to prepare the dish without rice. The dish arrived, it looked good. BUT it was crazy over salted. I LOVE salt but that was just crazy. I couldn’t finish it. I also didn’t want to complain since the server was super nice. My partners dish was real bland though. So I don’t know what happened but I’m definitely not going back. Big yikes
S	Sa- Turn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ofc due to the location, the Peruvian taste is not the same. However the Aji de Gallina wasn’t bad. It was a really expensive meal and small portions for the price :(
L	Linus Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 可惜主餐都太淡，不道地的味道。價錢不值得 Unfortunately the dishes lack flavor, not just salt but also the spices; at best maybe you could consider it as Peruvian food on training wheels for Taiwanese who don’t know better. The 180nt bowl of chicken soup had the most flavor, but is quite expensive. It’s all well plated but not worth the high prices, and nothing like any of the great Peruvian restaurants of San Francisco that I had in my mind, sadly. Maybe it’s better as a bar with live music on weekends, but don’t come here just for the food.
F	Fab C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little bar / restaurant. Very friendly. Saw a great band there tonight. They need a new selection of good quality beers and the manager promised to work on it. Ordered 3 dishes. Both chicken dishes were nice, but the signature civiche was much too small and under seasoned for the price. Look forward to going back with a better drinks choice but unlikely to eat there again. Looking forward to my next visit though.
G	Greg Kuebler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love South American food but the food quality and authenticity here is pretty off. Looks like they have live performances and such which is nice. I the atmosphere is nice but they really need improve the food quality. The spice levels and flavors were pretty low.
