Styles after a Swiss chalet, the property has seen better days. While generally clean I got a bath towel that was ripped and threadbare. Rooms had a slight musty smell but biggest issue for me is that a/c is NOT available. Yes, the property is located abt 1700m above sea levek.. Still this is summer and with all Windows open and a portable can (provided with room).. Temp in room hovered at around 24c.. Which to me is uncomfortably warm. Also be warned that the food at the on property restaurant is pricey AND veryunappetizing despite being attractively presented. Staff was generally helpful and polte. In room satellite tv offers a very good selection of channels. No a/c.. Bad food.. Very disappointing.

This hotel is grossly overpriced for the quality provided. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the outside appearance quaint. We were accommodated in a dungeon like room with a stone wall a meter away, no view whatsoever. The evening meal, an extra, was average at best and the tea and coffee COLD. Get to the dessert bar early because the pickings are few and its "first hog to the trough". The morning shower matched the tea, COLD. AT 5:30 the desk agent was sawing logs and may as well have been in a coma.

Very classy place to stay, and has a chocolate factory of its own! They even let you make your own chocolate and design it. Not a bad place if you're looking for quality chocolates as souvenirs, or just to enjoy them on the spot. Each of them are made with care, and are meant to be savored individually. If you're looking for the place, you won't find it going through the main door - remember to just walk down the slope towards the left and you should see it in seconds. It has a colourful "candyland" themed porch as its entrance.

Reasons we did not appreciate staying here: 1. The front desk staff was quite rude and unprofessional 2. There’s no a/c 3. The walls are incredibly thin, we could hear the people talking inside their rooms as we walked down the hall 4. The room definitely looked bigger in pictures 5. We asked for a baby crib during our booking, to only find out after we arrived that they don’t have any baby cribs to supply us. Thus, our family of three had to sleep on a double bed. Even when they noticed the mistake they didn’t give us the option of changing our room to a two bed room.

This is an upscale hotel modeled after a Swiss villa. There a number of romantic pieces of art decorating the walls. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. However there is only one room in the entire hotel that has Air conditioning and that is only a small window unit. Rooms are provided with .mosquito nets and you will definitely need them since the rooms tend to run warm despite the mountain elevation. Our room has a ripped and GRAY towel. Hotel food looks promising but doesn't deliver on the promise. The ingedients are ok but the season I g is badly off. You can tell that the hotel is trying but they need to step back and look at the issues from a slightly different perspective. As a side note the staff seem overworked and our late evening checkout clerk was doing early morning breakfast duty as well.

The balcony is smaller than expected, therefore the view is quite limited. The room is not well cleaned, there are hair on pillows and weird smell from the curtain, and the wall paper is cracked... had to put the towel on the pillows... the choice of “free” afternoon tea was very limited from the menu... Overall, the comments on the internet are overrated, the living experience is definitely not worth the price :(

We had a very good stay here. Friendly staff, comfortable room, good equipment and high value food. Moreover, after I came home, the staff returned my cell phone charger as I lost it in the hotel. It’s definitely the best hotel on top of Qingjing farm. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting. Please give your staff awards!
