★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The entrance fee is NT$66 per person and for such a cheap price it’s definitely worth going in to check it out. It’s educational and entertaining at the same time. Get an English brochure at the entrance because all the explanations inside are in Chinese.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very funny place that imitated figures of ancient students, teachers, government officers and civilians in actual human size showing the daily life of the ancient city. It mainly tells the story of studying and examination in the past. Admission fee is NT$66 for adult only. Visitors can spend a half day here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A historically designated and maintained academy from the Qing Dynasty era. Established in 1814 in the old ''New City'' now the Fongshan district of Kaohsiung. A museum and artistic reconstruction of a historical site. The beautiful original architecture of the Qing era academy buildings remains, and houses within are era specific historical artifacts. Well worth the visit if you are at all interested in history, or architecture. The modern cartoonish statues help bring the place alive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant place to go and to visit, the big problem is the parking... You can't park next to it, you need to park at least 400 meters from it and you need to walk on the road without any sidewalk... Wich one is the genius who forgot tourists will have to walk on a busy traffic with bus , cars and scooters... Anyway, you can go at the end of afternoon and enjoy fresh air and drink a little cafe or juices on the terraces on the top enjoying a great view
