The product fell apart whilst on the pan but it gives a good idea of the composition of the dumpling (lean meat, half a salted duck egg yolk, small shiitake mushrooms, and a chestnut. Despite all the ingredients, the flavor is not particularly intense so you can certainly add more seasoning to taste. Kept impressively well considering it's been in the freezer for 6 months. 20100116: They were running a promotion of TWD 10 off their leaf wrapped rice dumplings as they were celebrating their 10th anniversary in business. Took advantage of this promotion and bought 6 more manhan. 20100108: Finally bought two, one manhan leaf wrapped dumplings and one five grain rice leaf wrapped dumplings. Flavor is quite similar but the texture is different, i.e., glutinous rice vs five grain rice. Personally like the glutinous rice version. Below is from a previous visit (date unknown). --- Been wanting to try this place as the photos on Google Maps looked really good! Finally had a chance to pass by. Shopfront and interior look neat and clean, no odd smells upon walking in. Had appointment today so couldn't eat, but have their menu now and will come back.
