Traditional, tasty old-style dry noodle. Highly recommended for Fujianese dry noodle enthusiasts.

Old style dry noodle. Eventhough this place is not the original owner anymore but the noodle and the sauce combination is delightful. Thud place is right across of National Immigration Office and by Taipei City Hospital.

Simple, quick and tasty, like all of the best Taiwanese foods. After my friend introduced this place to me years ago I have never missed an opportunity to stop in when hitting up the NIA. Is it worth going out of the way for? Maybe, maybe not. But it is absolutely worth it if you're in the area.

Honest: not worth traveling too. But if you're in the area, definitely. It's a delicious, reliable neighborhood restaurant. Simply: it is a bowl of noodles and some green onions. It's up to you to add vinegar, soy sauce, hot sauce and hot oil to your taste/liking. But when you're craving noodles, like I was, it hits the spot. Anyone who is a picky noodler (like me) appreciates a good al dente (QQ) and they do it alright here. It is the quintessential neighborhood restaurant, with simple foods done right. I recommend getting a soup with it. We got a small fishball soup that we could have added wontons to for a little extra (we chose not to).

Authentic and delicious at a very reasonable price! Must try the black vinegar with the dry noodles!

This place is quite easy to find, just located by the immigration office. The food is quite normal. I tried the famous dry noodles, it was cooking a little too long. The noodles was too soft for me. We also had 3 plates of vegetables the eggplant was cooked well, the yellow kimchi was very good and the bitter melon was yummy too. We had two types of soups. The one with the fish balls was nice and hot however the white fish ball was quite oily. The other soup was the wonton soup is was not good at all. The soup was cold, their was too much wonton pastry compared to the meat filling. The service is quick and sometimes polite.

Was told by a Taiwanese lady up in San Francisco East Bay that my homemade Sichuan chilly oil reminded her of their noodles. So when in town of Taipei, I just had to try it. Well, yes the flavors are similar, however theirs is dry and flaky and generate no more flavor when in contact with hot foods like my chilly oil. Two other side dishes ordered were bland. So one visit was quite enough.

Good dry noodle place from a long time. The service really sucks with attitude but we go there to eat the noodle which is still good. Don't expect concierge service for NT$50 noodle. Good noodle, clean and right across of Taipei Hospital just in case. Around the corner from the immigration office.
