★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big room , clean and very good location hotel. We tried this hotel in New Taipei area instead in the center of Taipei , because bigger space of the room. And because the hotel is just at gate#2 of Xingpu station, so it's just 10-15 mins to go to central of Taipei. The hotel is not new, but because of goos maintenance and cleaning, so didn't feel any inconvenience. All staff is so friendly, especially the staff in breakfast restaurant. Buffet breakfast is variety, even my vegan husband was happy every day. The hotel is not that many stars, don't have swimming pool or gym, but that is not our purpose to visit Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like this place. Some rooms are bigger than their neighbors, and I never know which I'm going to get. Running water in the bath is a painfully slow task. But the ambiance is good, and it's conveniently located.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service is good. Room is very clean. Breakfast is delicious. It's a old hotel with the pretty old equipment and set up. TV is not good at all. But I do watch it anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small hotel with small hotel price but the rooms are large. Although the hotel is well maintained, the carpet and bathroom floor are starting to show its age but most people won't even be bothered by it. Bedding is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate with a mixture of local and western. Love the porridge toppings and the very sweet fresh pineapples and three different kinds of citrus fruits.
For transportation convenience, I give it 5 stars. Entrance to underground Metro station is only 20 steps (yes, steps, not a typo) from the hotel front door. If you take 10 steps further, there is a taxi queue. Most of the time, the taxis are the ones doing the queueing, not the passengers. The pedestrian area in front of the hotel is wide enough to allow cars to come in and pick up hotel guests.
Yes, will come back again on our future trip to Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice hotel catering to 1st world tastes. There was a nice eastern and Western breakfast included in the price. It's right off the metro so easy access to all of Taipei. Also right beside a 7/11 so easy to grab a cold drink or alcoholic beverage if desired. Staff were helpful and trilingual. The hallway smelled of smoke, but the room was well insulated from sound. Nice medium firm bed. Shower leaked all over the floor, but had a drain in place, intentionally?
