The chef selects quality ingredients for his pastries. Love the heavy chocolate soufflé, it’s moist, not too sweet, and gluten free. Also love all the beautiful pots they use for tea. Quiet and well decorated space.
Not a lot of tables, so rec to make reservation.

The owners designed and decorated the whole place by themselves.
Most importantly, the cakes are awesome in terms of presentation and tastiness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not my favorite kind of soufflé pancake (I like to do be slightly undercooked in the middle, which it’s pretty much like well done here). But flavor wise it’s nice, still fluffy, not too sweet and the cream is also nice n light. Staffs are nice and friendly. Not the most typical and authentic kind of Taiwanese dessert, but nice to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Dihua St., this dessert/tea spot has a comfy, old-timey ambiance & decor. The seasonal special, “red jade oolong tea” soufflé pancakes are worth a try if you like tea-flavored desserts, but mine came semi-cooked + “foamy” in the center. The cakes took awhile to cook but again, were a bit too soft for my liking. Not sure if it was bc of the rice flour or the egginess, but I’ve had soufflé pancakes w fluffier and sturdier centers. I enjoyed the nutty + fragrant flavors, but for the price, expected a better texture.
