★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced. Overrated. Horrific attitude. It is NOT worth spending long time on long queue to get normal Taiwanese breakfast. If you see people on queue downstairs, I strongly recommend you go elsewhere to have breakfast. Don't let this greedy family ruin your lovely morning. It was very delicious 10 years ago. But this family doesn't improve their foods' quality. What's worst, the logistics is a tragedy. Tourists, please don't stick to guidebook to let this overrated food stand destroy your image of Taiwanese foods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a long long queue when I first visited this famous restaurant few years back, so I decided to give it a miss at that time.
Today I went there around 5:30am in the morning! All is well, i got everything I want. o(^▽^)o
Love the salty soy milk & texture of the glutinous rice in the Taiwanese rice ball.
Crispy flat bread is average however the thick flat bread is different from the norm breakfast place in Taiwan..it’s worth a try :)

Overall experience is horrible, not worth the long queue.

Everything are freshly made, I like the caramel bun most especially the smell of the baked white sesames on top of it.
Make this place as one of your Taipei memories ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only is it delicious but it also brought me back to my childhood memories, even though I'm not Taiwanese.
If you want to eat like at home, fresh and hot dishes with balanced flavors, you absolutely have to go there!
And pescatarian friendly!!
100/10!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! Definitely get the 飯糰! It goes so well with a bowl of warm soy milk. A great spot for breakfast or brunch. Even though there is always a queue, service is very quick and price is very affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hyped shao bing place. Have like 4 Michelin guide plate. Took me about 30 mins to queue up during Saturday morning peak hrs . Worth the wait. Although as a foreigner, I couldn't taste that much difference than the other shao bing I ate before. But this one have a thicker shao bing. Not that flaky. More like a bread.
