★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to hike and enjoy scenic views of downtown Taipei. Most signs are bilingual and are easy to follow. Bring drinking water as there are no water fountains in the park. There is one restroom but I’ve never seen it stocked with paper towels or soap. It is possible to visit at night as parts of the park are well-lit but bring insect repellent or cover yourself sufficiently.
I’ve never seen park rangers working here. In case you need help, there is a good chance you’ll run into other hikers since the park is well-visited, especially during the day. It’s also a good idea to record the phone number indicated in this listing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are both long (if you start from the the eco park entrance) and Short trails (if you go directly to just the end of park) lots of jungle looking plants. Nice and shaded trails. Multiple entrances :)
Only downside is the view of 101 is very distant and lots of trees obstruct the view. However it is worth the trade off of a quiet, peaceful hike if that is what you are looking for. Way better than elephant mountain!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a YouBike station near the entrance of Fuzhoushan Park, and you also need 10 minutes to finish around 1 km trail to Fuyang Eco-park. It's effortless and fit for beginner hikers because there are a lot of stairs over there. At the top of the hill, you can see 101 Tower. I usually come here in the morning because they also have road lamps along the way ~
