★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love walking around down here - the air has less vehicle exhaust and it's cooler/warmer then the street level. Plus there is no stop lights or the possibility of getting run over. Lots of shops, food and random knickknacks. There is a place here where you can get an account for free government funded Wifi all you need to do is bring your passport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to hold from the summer heat! Cute little shops from clothes to socks to phone accessories. They have drink and food vendors also. Even have a free public library..swipe to enter with your yo-yo card! Cool place to walk around

Overall, its safe and well connected to varies shopping center and book stores, etc.

An important hub to 101 Commercial Building & Sogo Departments, even further to Taipei Main Station extending to Xi-men (ding) Area /West Door/where flurishes parallelling the histories & modernity. Now many hotels & hostels would surprise your life with limited budget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underground mall that stretches along under Zhongxiao south road in section 1 Da An district. Lots of little stores selling clothing, phone accessories, food, etc. Good for wandering about especially when the weather is bad (wet, cold or even hot summer days).
