★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local Taiwanese chocolate brand. They grow their own cocoa beans and create a complete 'tree to bar' process. Chocolate quality is really good and some of their varieties have won international prizes.

There is a workshop and restaurant (more for desserts) and a shop where you can buy various chocolates in gift wrap. Their ice cream is amazing, don't miss it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour introduces the chocolate beans from the trees to the table. The weather here is especially suitable for locally-grown chocolate beans. We never know that Pingtung has such a high-end chocolate manufacturer. Love this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had lunch at their Cafe. Food was good, expensive for the area and what it was though (NT 150-280). Add NT 100 to get a 3 piece chocolate sampler + choice of coffee, cocoa tea, or fruit tea. Their signature chocolate stout was NT 220 for a 330ml bottle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my memory, chocolate tree grows in tropical hot areas, such as in Africa, never do I know that there's chocolate tree farm in Taiwan, this store and their farm truly refresh my memory. The chocolate here is mainly handmade, they make them on the second floor everyday, customers could see the workers melting chocolate, cutting chocolate, packaging chocolate and baking chocolate beans, it is quite a educative place rather than a store selling chocolate. I've tried their 90% chocolate ice cream, it tastes very rich but not greasy.
