★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice reminder that Taipei not that long ago was a tropical rainforest! The hike up the hill is worthwhile and one will be rewarded with a nice view of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is a great place to go for a hike to get out of the business of the city and go into some nature. Climbing up it is a workout but the scenery at the top is great. There’s also lots of wildlife walking around!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool little green space just off the brown train line. Connects to a bigger neighbouring park in places. The stone mossy stairs are really slippery, the timber stairs and walkways are ok though. Saw some butterflies. Trails are pretty short with a lot of stairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the 'must visit' places for hiking and being in harmony with nature. You get to view Taipei 101 from another angle at the top and a bonus view of the Miramar ferris wheel (best viewed at night) in a distant. Just remember to have insect/ mosquito repellent
