沿途拿導航走的都和我們一樣鬼打牆?
沿途斜坡很陡，要有點腳力，
愛玉亭旁有一條捷徑可到父子斷崖
風景壯闊，但雨天我覺得不要冒險

The slopes along the way are very steep, so you need a little foot strength.
There is a shortcut next to Aiyu Pavilion to the father and son cliff
The scenery is magnificent, but I don't think I should take the risk on a rainy day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 父子斷崖又稱父不知子斷崖，位於八通關古道入口，為風化頁岩的大崩壁景觀，因地形險惡，經常落石不斷，因而有個傳神的名稱，意味著即便是父子兩人同行至此，也無法互相照應，「父子斷崖」這段路雖然行走起來驚險萬分，但是目前斷崖部份已圍上了可以攀握的護欄及繩索，提高了健行的安全。
前往的交通資訊：
南下路線：
國道1號→彰化系統交流道→國道3號→下名間交流道(台3線)→集集(台16線)→水里(台21線)→信義(台21線)→東埔溫泉→八通關古道登山口→步行進入
北上路線：
國道3號→下名間交流道(台3線)→集集(台16線)→水里(台21線)→信義(台21線)→東埔溫泉→八通關古道登山口→步行進入
大眾運輸:
縱貫鐵路→二水站→集集、水里→轉搭員林客運至東埔溫泉。
Father and Son Cliff, also known as Father and Son Cliff, is located at the entrance of Batongguan Ancient Road. They can't take care of each other. Although the "Father and Son Cliff" section is extremely dangerous to walk, the cliff is now surrounded by guardrails and ropes that can be climbed, which improves the safety of hiking.
